Melinda is a freelance writer, aspiring creative entrepreneur, and current full time uni student. She lives in both Brisbane (Red Hill) and the Gold Coast (Mermaid Beach) in Queensland, Australia.
Mel is also a certified Angel Intuitive™ practitioner and she often assists author Doreen Virtue PhD. on her Australian tours, where she enjoys speaking in front of 500+ people. Doreen recently wrote about Melinda in her book “Goddesses & Angels” (page 186- published by Hay House).
Melinda's articles on psychic and spiritual development are frequently published in national magazines, which include Spheres: The Spirit Guide. Melinda frequently handles the Spheres “Q & A” column, where she answers questions and gives psychic advice to readers.
After years of numerous, unsatisfying
forms of employment in Sydney and Canberra, Melinda is now following her
dreams of becoming one of the few psychic writer-filmmaker-entrepreneurs
on the planet. (Well I wouldn't want to be boring!)

A few years ago she quit her job in a video games shop (which was fun but wasn't going to buy her a house) and moved to QLD where she became a full time uni student (so now she can't buy anything). She is currently in her second year of an Interdisciplinary Bachelor of Creative Industries degree at the Queensland University of Technology. Yeah!
Melinda's life goal is to use her creativity to inspire people to live more joy-filled, magickal lives. Because life is magickal!
Past employment includes:
- Editorial and office assistant at “Spheres” magazine (possibly my most interesting job so far- especially while helping at psychic training events).
- A stint as an Internet Techie for “BigPond” in Sydney, where Melinda was commonly referred to by her peers as “The Good Fairy of Telstra”.
- She is also one of the few females to work in a video games shop, at EB Games/ Electronics Boutique (at various stores in the ACT, but mainly at Civic and Tuggeranong).
- A hotel Concierge, in Sydney during the 2000 Olympics (At the Goldsbrough- Mort Serviced Apartments in Darling Harbour).
- A Mac computer salesperson at AppleCentre, Sydney.
- Door to door canvasser for the Sydney branch of The Australian Wilderness Society.
- An upbeat and perky sales representative for P.I. Advertising, and All Terrain Marketing (Sydney).
- A movie star (just kidding- extra) in the films Mission Impossible 2 and Moulin Rouge (A gig which she got through her Sydney agent)

She is a good Witch, and follows her
own eclectic brand of spirituality. She used to be in a Wiccan coven
but now she practices mostly in solitary. Spirituality has had a major influence
on most of her recent work. |
